As noted previously, I decided to replace the mezzanine casement window with a picture window. TO ensure there was adequate ventilation I decided to add a double hung window. One of the wonders of SIP construction is that you can just cut a hole in an existing SIP panel, and put the window in. All I had to do was check with the manufacturer that there were no structural components where I planned my cut.
